Ashraya Dhama in Maddur , Mandya district begun with an intention to provide shelter to 3 homeless kids. This small gesture of kindness gave shape to what we know as the Ashraya Charitable Trust (ACT). Formally registered in early 1997. ACT, in the last 23 years has housed more than 180 kids, most of them today are leading a usual daily life. The ACT has not only provided food shelter and clothing to orphan kids but has also extended help to old age people and deprived women of the society
To have a better world
Ashraya Charitable trust believes in the sustainability of human development, to exercise their civil rights in their communities and lead a dignified social and economic existence with improved living conditions. It is important that every individual meets their basic needs and to have a better education so that they contribute towards making this world a better place to live in.
Trust Building Inauguration
A brand new building for Ashrayadhama was inaugurated for the inmates of the trust. Its is about 2500sq ft with all infrastructure and amenities.
Shelter for Homeless
Being rewfered by Tahsildhar and Health Department , Maddur, Homeless people were brought to Ashrayadhama and were given shelter and food to stay as inmate
Sheltar for homeless
The above person who was a beggar was brought to Ashrayadhama was given food and shelter and personal cleanliness was taught.
Food distribution to Slum dwellers
Food packets were distributed to the slum dwellers in Maddur by local people inspired by the work of Ashrayadhama Trust. About 100 people were benefited.

Lighting the Lamp
As per Prime MInister Sri Narendra Modi's Call to the Nation. The inmates in Ashradhama lighted the lamps to show respect to corona warriors and to fight against corona
During this trial times of Covid - 19 Ashraya Charitable Trust took initiative in distributing the food prepared from Ashrayadhama to the needy people in Bus stand , Railway station and Temples. About 200 people were benefited from this program . This program continued for 21 days from the day of first Lockdown in the country
